We are still working toward saving money to cover our adoption fees. When we went to the FSA conference we attended a class about paying for your adoption. One idea I came away with was to use a talent to help raise money. I thought of two things I've made I'd like to try to sell. There are pictures and explanations below.
One of the things I thought of was baby booties. I have patterns for various style for both boys and girls or can use another pattern if preferred. For now I only have one completed pair to show but I will add some other styles as I get them made. The ones pictured are crocheted and I am asking $10.(Sorry some pics are not the best-can't seem to get the right lighting). These booties are for babies age 0-3 mo.(approx.)
My other idea was cutting letters or numbers of wood with my scroll saw. These can be used for decorations for a child's room, home decor, house numbers, etc. For example, you could get letters of a child's name then apply scrap-booking paper or paint for a very cute decoration. I will price these according to the project.
